The Role
As a Software Engineer on the Cloud Platform team, you'll design and build the core systems behind Alauda Container Platform (ACP) — the enterprise Kubernetes platform trusted by 500+ organizations. You'll work across the full stack of cloud-native infrastructure: from backend services and APIs to performance optimization and customer-facing solution delivery. This is a high-impact role where your code runs at scale in some of the world's most demanding production environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and operate backend services for Alauda's cloud-native platform products
- Build and improve platform management systems, APIs, and internal tooling
- Collaborate with product and architecture teams on performance analysis, system optimization, and technology adoption
- Develop product features and solutions tailored to enterprise customer requirements
- Engage directly with customers to understand technical needs and support on-site delivery when required
What You Bring
- 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language — Go, Python, Java, or C++
- Solid experience building and operating software on Linux
- Strong software architecture and system design skills — you can own a component end-to-end
- Familiarity with common design patterns and the ability to make sound technical trade-offs independently
- Clear communicator who works well in a cross-functional team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or the cloud-native ecosystem
- Proficiency in Go (our primary backend language)
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Background in cloud computing, distributed systems, or infrastructure software
