The Role

As a Presales Solutions Architect, you are the senior technical face of Alauda to prospective customers and partners. You'll lead complex customer engagements end-to-end — from discovery and architecture design to competitive positioning and technical wins. Part technologist, part storyteller, you translate complex platform capabilities into compelling business outcomes for CIOs, CTOs, and engineering leaders. You'll also train the sales team, conduct competitive analysis, and represent Alauda at industry events.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the trusted technical advisor for enterprise prospects — lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive-level presentations
  • Design and present solution architectures, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept plans tailored to customer environments
  • Partner with sales to shape deals, drive technical wins, and close complex enterprise opportunities
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop positioning against Red Hat OpenShift, SUSE Rancher, and VMware Tanzu
  • Train sales teams on product capabilities, technical differentiators, and selling motions
  • Represent Alauda at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements
  • Channel customer and market insights back to Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in presales, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or IT advisory
  • Fluent English — comfortable presenting to C-level audiences and leading technical workshops
  • Strong grasp of cloud computing, Kubernetes, containerization, and enterprise infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in enterprise presales for platform or infrastructure products (OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, cloud providers)
  • Hands-on development or operations background
  • Experience working with partners or channel sales
  • Track record of presenting at industry conferences or meetups
