The Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll drive revenue growth by engaging enterprise prospects and strategic partners remotely. You'll manage inbound and outbound pipeline, qualify opportunities, and work closely with field sales, presales, and partner teams to move deals forward. Alauda is scaling fast internationally — you'll be at the front line of that expansion, building relationships with IT decision-makers at banks, telcos, and governments across Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who combines commercial drive with genuine curiosity about enterprise technology.
What You'll Do
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and partner referrals
- Manage and progress a pipeline of enterprise opportunities — from initial outreach through to handoff to field sales or direct close
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and regional resellers to drive co-sell opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments with IT leaders, mapping customer challenges to Alauda's platform capabilities
- Collaborate with Presales and Solutions Architecture to prepare proposals, demos, and follow-up materials
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and activity tracking in CRM
- Gather competitive intelligence and market insights from customer and partner conversations
- Support regional marketing campaigns, webinars, and events to generate demand
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or a related commercial role in B2B technology
- Fluent English — comfortable cold-calling, presenting remotely, and building rapport across cultures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you can engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset — you own your pipeline and hit your numbers
- Organized and disciplined — comfortable working with CRM tools and sales processes
- Interest in enterprise infrastructure, cloud computing, or Kubernetes — you don't need to be an engineer, but you're curious about the technology
Nice to Have
- Experience selling enterprise software, infrastructure, or platform products
- Experience working with channel partners or co-sell motions
- Familiarity with the competitive landscape: Red Hat, SUSE, VMware, cloud providers
- Experience in Southeast Asian, African, or Middle Eastern markets
- Additional languages (Bahasa, Arabic, French, Portuguese) are a plus
